Permangola happens once a year bringing together Permaculture and Capoiera Angola at the Kilombo Tenondé .
Cobra Mansa is both the founder of the International Foundation of Capoeira Angola as well as Kilombo Tenonde.
The event will have classes of Capoeira Angola, making of Caxixis and Berimbaus, Bio Construction, Agroforestry, and Permaculture as well as Capoeira rodas. For more information click here.
Directed by “Mestre Cobra Mansa,” this center combines the art of Capoeira Angola with the practice of permaculture through a series of activities, events and volunteer opportunities. Together with local farmers several activities are also held encouraging the production of agricultural products without the use of chemical pesticides and fertilizers (including: cacau, canela, cravo, urucum, dende, guarana, manica, jaca, legumes and more).
The Kilombo is located in Bonfim, a small village close to the city of Valenca.The area has native forest mixed with areas of agriculture and areas that are reforested. The property has a swimable river and a great number of fruit trees. It also has a garden that supplies most of the vegetables for the trainings.
